    The Champions Club: Christopher Newport's Athletic Giving Society is for donors who make a gift of $25 or more to any area of athletics. If you are a Young Alum (2021-2024), there is a special component of the Champions Club just for you!

    The team is off to an amazing and successful season with our largest team in CNU history with 45 athletes. Our alumni, friends, and family have been the BEST supporters in the past helping us raise nearly $30K last year in support of our program and our road to Nationals. We need your help again as we raise funds to hit the road to the NCA College Nationals. We will be heading to Daytona, Beach FL this April to defend our 2024 National Championship title.

    Your donations will help support competition entry fees, uniforms, team gear, meals and travel expenses! Our CNU Cheer family, friends, and fans in addition to alumni and University support will help ensure we can maintain the highest level of support possible for the Captains Cheer to return to the competition arena this Spring.


     The team can be seen at all the home football and basketball games cheering on our Captains and putting on entertaining performances at the games. We love to lead the crowd in yelling for our Captains and helping them bring home those WINS! We can be seen across campus and in the community volunteering and mentoring youth. We are proud to be the reigning 2024 NCA College National Cheerleading Champions and hope we can represent CNU strong again this year at Nationals! Our athletes work extremely hard all year on the sidelines, on the competitive cheerleading mat, and most importantly in the classroom! We appreciate your support of them!
