Under the direction of third-year head coach Paul Crowley, the Captains finished the year with a 7-3 record, their third winning season in a row. CNU advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2023 for the 11th time in the 24-season history of the program and the first time since 2014. Powered by one of the best offenses in program history, the Captains set a school record scoring 36.9 points per game. Once again, CNU ranked in the top-20 nationally in attendance, welcoming in an average of 3,150 fans to TowneBank Stadium per game. Every gift makes an impact on what we are able to accomplish together for the student-athlete experience here at Christopher Newport.
