    Last season was another great success for CNU Men’s Basketball, in large part because of the amazing support we received from all of our donors.. With nine new faces on the roster, the 2023-24 Captains marched all the way to the Elite 8- one bucket away from advancing. This marked the program's fourth consecutive appearance in the National Quarterfinals. More importantly, our players have continued to succeed in the classroom, be active in our community, and our graduates are already doing big things!
    As we turn the page to this 2024-25 season, we are excited about our team, our schedule, and the opportunities ahead. With a good number of returners and an exciting crop of newcomers, we will again take on one of the toughest schedules in the nation. We will return to play in the Bilas Classic in Charlotte, NC and are looking forward to competing against our in-state and C2C rivals.
    In order to maintain a strong program, we need your continued support. The cost of regular and postseason travel is costly and increases every year. One of the goals for our program is to ensure every player on our roster has the same incredible opportunities and experiences. One such experience will be happening in the summer of 2025 when our team takes our fourth foreign tour. Trips like this are a huge part of the recruiting and retention success we've enjoyed over the last decade and are life-changing for our players and incredibly impactful for our team's unity.
    Our program depends on your support to make experiences like this possible in addition to the annual support our team needs to stay at the top of our game. 
    Every gift makes a positive impact on the student-athlete experience here at Christopher Newport. Because of your support, we can ensure that Christopher Newport is the best place in Division III to play Men’s Basketball.
